Do you want to start attracting more money into your life? Creating a money mindset can be a game changer if you do it properly.
I know what you’re thinking…
…how do you create a money mindset if you don’t have any money.
If you’ve landed on this page, then I’m certain it’s not the first time you’ve heard the term money mindset.
But when you’re sitting there searching the internet worried about how you’re going to pay your rent next month…
…or put food on the table.
…or trying to decide which bills you will pay (which can you live without, gas or electricity?).
…or maybe you’ve got the basics covered but you still feel like you’re just scraping by.
It can be hard to imagine creating a money mindset when you’re desperate for money.
So let’s get all kinds of woo-woo up in here and talk about how to create an abundance mindset.

What IS a Money Mindset?
Let’s start with what a money mindset is NOT.
A money mindset is not about wishing for money. If you’re wishing for money because of your current financial situation, you’re already putting it out there that you don’t have money and need it…aka desperation or a scarcity mindset.
This can be hard to do when you don’t have any cash.
I know.
I’ve been there.
And I remember thinking, ‘how the heck do I NOT think about the fact that I don’t have money?’
Creating a money mindset is like playing pretend.
Pretending you have everything you need. Pretending you have that feeling of being safe and not worrying about money.
Sounds hokey, right?
It is. And it’s a weird thing to get used to.
You’re going to have to get out of your comfort zone here and just be okay with doing something woo-woo to make this work.
How to Create a Money Mindset – Step by Step
Before I start telling you how to change your thinking, I want you to remember this.
You WON’T be perfect all the time. That’s okay.
You likely won’t be able to maintain the exact thought process 24/7 – especially when you’re about to pay the bills. But that’s okay.
What we’re trying to do is create a pattern where you’re triggered to think differently. But don’t worry, I’ll explain.
How to Manifest Money Step 1 – Think Ridiculous Thoughts
The first step is to take some time and think about having money, but in the most silly way you can. Pick a time throughout the day where you aren’t working…
…on your break.
…when you shower.
…when you’re cooking dinner.
…as you’re cutting the grass or cleaning the house.
And I want you to think crazy thoughts about money. Things like:
- Rolling around on a mattress covered in money
- Money coming out of the vents in your home
- Cash coming out of the sink in your bathroom sink and tub
- Showering in money
- Opening up your mail and finding cash
- Cleaning and finding cash under the cushions
I once found a meditation that recommended thinking about a hole opening up in your ceiling and money just flooding into your home. So every day when I walked the dogs, I would imagine money flooding my kitchen table and falling onto the floor.
How to Manifest Money Step 2 – Think About it as Much As You Can
Think about these ridiculous things as much as you can.
You can start by doing it in times like I mentioned above, but the more you get comfortable with it, the more you can put it into your daily life.
Add a mantra like “I am ready to receive financial abundance immediately” or “I am receiving immediate abundance.”
How to Manifest Money Step 3 – Feel It
The third and final step to creating a money mindset is to FEEL it. Really feel how good it feels to have money. Feel how relieved you are.
Feel it so deeply that you don’t have money worries anymore. Really imagine what that would mean for you if you just had money coming out of every opening in your house.
How would your life change? How would your relationships change? Force yourself to feel the feelings that come along with having money and not worrying about it. This takes time.
You’re using the law of attraction (it’s woo-woo, I know) to attract money to you.
When I first started doing this, I thought it was silly. But, I figured it couldn’t hurt. I started doing it when I walked the dogs, when I cooked meals, and when I was taking a break from working.
Eventually, I was thinking these crazy thoughts constantly.
And it changed my life. It starts making you see opportunities where you wouldn’t have noticed them before.
It opens up your mind to new ideas and thoughts that will make you money.
How Long Does Manifesting Money Take to Start Working?
This depends. How long it takes you to start manifesting money depends on how quickly you start adapting this habit.
If you do it once a week, it will take much longer than if you’re doing it every day.
Unfortunately, there’s no way to know exactly how long it will take. This is advice based on my personal experience. There’s no hard and fast rule to how long it will take. Once I started doing it multiple times per day, I started noticing a difference almost immediately in little bits, and a real impact within two months.
But the bottom line is, what’s the harm? Try it out for a month and see if it makes a difference in your life. It was a total game changer for me and it could be for you, but you won’t know until you try it.
And if you do, you have to decide that it is going to work. If you go into it deciding that it won’t work, it probably won’t. Just keep an open mind and give it a try. Let me know if it works for you.
